PyPi interactive dependency graph (wait for full loading of the graph)

This graph has been spatialized and coloured using Gephi and some modifications were done to be better integrated with SigmaJS.

Disclamer : The data presented here is a work in progress, this whole graph analyses dependencies between Python packages on PyPi and those dependencies have been extracted from the setup.py files within their distributions. This method is not the most accurate one, therefore :

If a link between two dependencies has been created, there is no doubt about its existence;
but if no link has been created for a node, we have no evidence that the mentioned library doesn't really depends on something else. It's just not mentioned.

In addition to that, the dataset presented here contains only 16536 packages on the 26923 registered on PyPi.
The reasons for that are that some packages are on PyPi but no releases are associated to them, and many have complex build procedures that were not handled by the program i used.
In other words, It's a work in progress take it as such.
